Once in Girvan, head along Knockcushan Street for the picturesque
harbour beyond which is the not-so-picturesque former Girvan Swimming Pool, now boarded up. The Harbourhead is on the opposite
side of the swimming pool building to the car park.
There is plenty car parking in the area around the restaurant.
For those travelling especially to dine with us, the trip will be well worth
it. If you are looking for a pretentious, expensive restaurant, we’re not it! You can, however, look forward to good
honest food and a very warm welcome at the Harbourhead Restaurant as recommended by The Independent’s Brian
Viner.
